The conference will be similar to past years with concurrent sessions, exhibitors, tech teams, and networking events. This will be an in-person conference, with no hybrid option.

Awards
Nominations are being sought for the fifteenth annual IACC Awards. Nominations can be made in one of the following categories:
• Community Impact
• Creative Solutions
• Good Steward
• Joe Mitschelen Lifetime Achievement Award

Tech Teams
Tech team requests are being accepted now until Friday, September 11, 2026.
For more information on tech teams, please see page 5 of the registration brochure, linked above.
Please note:
• The original request for a Tech Team must come from a community member.
• Tech Team meetings are organized to help communities prioritize multiple infrastructure challenges, develop a specific project idea, or plan for projects that will need multiple funding partners or that face complicated regulatory issues.
• Tech Team meetings are scheduled for Tuesday morning, October 20, before the official start of the conference. Our pool of agency staff is limited to those who are available on Tuesday morning.
• The IACC Tech Team schedule is finalized 3 weeks before the conference so that staff have adequate time to prepare.
• If you have questions about tech teams, please contact Claire Miller, at Claire.miller@commerce.wa.gov.

Short Course in Local Planning
Washington State Department of Commerce’s Short Course in Local Planning will take place Tuesday, October 20, from 6:00pm-9:00pm.

Please note that you are responsible for making your own hotel reservations. We were able to reserve a limited number of rooms at the government rate at each of the hotels listed below.
Beware of phishing attempts. We work diligently with hotels to establish room blocks for attendees. IACC volunteers and hotels will not reach out to you to solicit reservations. Improper solicitation of hotel reservations is not approved. Please be aware of and report any unauthorized solicitation to Claire Miller, at Claire.miller@commerce.wa.gov.
