IACC - Conference

Dear Friends and Colleagues

The IACC Executive Board has made the decision to cancel the 2020 IACC Conference scheduled for October 20-22 as an in-person event. This decision was made after considering public health and safety, uncertainty regarding guidance for large gatherings next fall, and increasing fiscal uncertainty of local communities, businesses, and our state, federal, and non-profit partners.

IACC's purpose is to improve the delivery of infrastructure assistance, both financial and technical, to local governments and tribes in Washington State. Although the in-person annual conference is cancelled, we are exploring options to provide this assistance virtually, including through webinars and on-line trainings. We will let you know more in the coming months.

Also, many of you are familiar with the 'tech team' meetings that we offer at the IACC Conference. We are now offering to help you plan and implement your priority infrastructure projects remotely, at any time during the year. If you need assistance moving your project forward, please submit a request through our on-line portal at http://www.infrafunding.wa.gov/techAssistance.html. Once we receive your Technical Assistance Request Form, someone will contact you within one week to determine the appropriate next steps for your project.

If you have any questions or additional ideas for how IACC can assist you with your infrastructure projects, please let us know.

Thank you for everything you are doing in this challenging time to help your community and our state.

Sincerely,

Cathi Read, IACC Conference Chair
